I draw with oil paints, acrylic paints and graphite pencil. Mostly these are drawings of animals. There are also still lifes, landscapes and portraits of people. I love the world in all its diversity and try to capture its beauty in my drawings.
Gerda Christoffersen
Internationally known Indian portrait artist, Gerda Christoffersen, is known for her pastel works called “Papoose Style.” born in Denmark, Gerda Christoffersen emigrated to Canada with her family. In her teens, as a creative young artist, she originated her unique artistic interpretations of the papoose. Gerda Christoffersen was already an acclaimed and professional artist when she came to New Mexico as a young woman and immersed herself in the history and tribal lore of our Southwest Indians. She devoted the subsequent years to portraying both the pathos and pride of those people.
John James Audubon
John James Audubon (1785-1851) was not the first person to attempt to paint and describe all the birds of America (Alexander Wilson has that distinction), but for half a century he was the young country’s dominant wildlife artist. His seminal The Birds of America, a collection of 435 life-size prints, quickly eclipsed Wilson’s work and is still a standard against which 20th and 21st century bird artists, such as Roger Tory Peterson and David Sibley, are measured.
Jose Trujillo
I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico in 1982, and moved to the United States of America with my family when I was nine-years-old. I currently live in Tucson, Arizona with my wife and son. I am a self-taught artist, who became interested in light, color, and motion at a very young age. As a young artist, I began visiting museums and studying the paintings of the old masters, finding that I was drawn to the Impressionist’s “blurry” view of the world. Observing the color and style of these paintings transformed how I looked at my world. Once I saw the depth of color in the Impressionist’s view of the sky, I was hooked. After viewing the Impressionist artwork, I was unable to view the majestic skies of Arizona without spending hours contemplating their beauty.
I paint because I love nature and life. I love everything that surrounds us. A perfect day for me involves nothing more than looking at a subject until its true essence reveals itself to me as the colors become vibrant and I truly “see” the subject. I believe a painting should represent the subject and its relationship to the world— it should be a celebration of its existence in the universe in the best possible light. I hope I am able to convey this in my work, and strive to do so with every painting I create.

Sascha Brastoff
Sascha Brastoff was born October 23, 1918, and he passed away February 4, 1993. He was an iconic mid-century designer who had a ceramic studio In Los Angeles, CA. He was active in the area from 1947 to 1963, when he left his company due to ill health. Sascha Brastoff was known for his talent and ability in many fields of art, both performing and visual, both fine art and fine craft. He was also an enamel on metal artist, however that was just a small part of his output.
The grandson of John D. Rockefeller, Winthrope B. Rockefeller, took interest in Sascha’s work and he began an association with Rockefeller as financial backer and social circle promoter. With Rockefeller’s support he moved into a much larger facility on Compton Avenue in South Los Angeles. However, after only a few months of doing business in this facility burned down. With Rockefeller’s continued financial support he opened a much larger, state-of-the-art factory and studio designed by architects A. Quincy Jones and Frederick Emmons on West Olympic Blvd. in West Los Angeles in 1953. It had 35,000 square feet of floor space and the half million dollar facility covered a city block. During the grand opening Hollywood celebrities such as Edward G. Robinson , Zsa Zsa Gabor, and Mitzi Gaynor made it the party of the year.
By the late 1950’s the company employed more than one hundred pottery workers. Many Hollywood stars were among his customers including Joan Crawford and Donna Reid. It is said that Joan Crawford bought an ashtray and stated in a letter to Sascha that she would not let anyone get near the ashtray with a cigarette as she considered it a work of art.
From 1940 Until 1962 studio pieces executed by Brastoff were usually signed Sascha Brastoff with or without a date. From 1947 to 1953 the signature Sascha B. was hand painted on the front of the design, usually at the bottom. These were painted by his staff.

Thomas Charley
Thomas Charley is full blooded Native American Indian. He was born in in 1952 into the Navajo Reservation and raised in Crownpoint, New Mexico. He has been creating jewelry since 1977 and specializes in his own unique contemporary style that he has developed on his own. His style is both stylish and very dramatic while still having all the character and ethics of his forefathers that introduced him into the business. Thomas’ jewelry features strong sterling silver links over which he has placed a wide row of domed silver bars that create a type of rope motif. Quite cleverly done, because by constructing it in this manner the jewelry is much, much lighter weight (and wears comfortably) than if it were of a solid casting style. Then, on the either side of his bracelets specifically the big ropes are two smaller ropes of twisted wire done by carefully wrapping two pieces of sterling silver around one another, set in a polished frame. His earrings, watches, rings, bracelets, concho belts, and bolo ties are all easily recognized by his beautiful sterling silver designs. His masterpieces are very stylish, elegant, and oh so sophisticated. He has always signed his jewelry with his logo TC Sterling. Thomas is related to: Bessie and Doris Charley (sisters), Renee Charley (daughter) and Al Charley (brother) who also are known for their fine craftsmanship in the art of jewelry making.
Zhanna Kan
My name is Zhanna Kan. I dreamed to become an artist since my early childhood. I began the drawing quite early, according to my mother’s words, before I began to speak. I spent my childhood in the village, in the grandparent’s house. Therefore, since childhood, I was surrounded by beautiful nature, fields, river, pets. I believe that everything has its own meaning or soul, whether it is an animal, or it is a plant, stone, water. Therefore, I always try to put life into anything I paint.
