Description
This exquisite 1960’s Handpainted Chinese Vase will look beautiful on your tabletop — with or without flowers! The colorful design of handpainted flowers, fruit and insects captures your attention set against an off white background. The delicate handles on each side of the neck incorporate what appears to be an animal (dog?) face where the handles meets the body of the vase, and the neck of the vase has a brass edge ensuring it will stand up to any wear and tear. Additionally, there are gilted highlights around the vase top and bottom as well as the handles. The piece has a nice heft to it, and feels as lovely as it looks. The color combination of deep and light purple fruit juxtaposed against green, yellow, blue and orange hues remind you of a beautiful, cultivated garden and make this piece a nice addition to your home…one that can move around the home as needed and always look lovely.
