Description
This Large Vintage Pair of Mottahedeh Porcelain Vases are exquisite in their perfection. Made in W. Germany of fine bone china, the handpainted, airy design of these identical ceramic vases features a bird of paradise (or peacock) with a bluish gray body and salmon / gold wings on a creamy white background. The gilted bird is perched atop a brown branch with larger coral flowers and smaller yellow flowers with green leaves. The front of each vase has a larger version of the design; whereas the design on the back of the vase is similar, yet smaller in scale. These vases would look amazing placed on Wall Shelves as well as your dining room table. An absolutely stunning pair!
- Marked on the bottom: “A Mottahedeh Design” by “AK Kaiser of Germany” in “W. Germany” with the number 56 and pattern “Olivia”
- Measures 4″ round x 10″ high
- Excellent vintage condition on both items in the pair, no visible chips or cracks.
