About Anne Faulkner

Representational style and country southwest flavor are captured in the paintings of Anne Faulkner. The earthy quality of her subject matter, rich vegetable colors, interplay of textures and strong sense of structural design are the essence of her paintings.

Anne received a BFA degree from Ohio University in 1971. Since then, she has instructed classes, depicted landmarks of historical importance and studied with various accomplished artists. Moving to Arizona from Pennsylvania in 1984,Anne’s love of nature and fascination with the diverse life style of the Southwest gave new direction and personality to her work. Her paintings often depict worn pottery, Spanish architecture, wild flowers and baskets of home grown vegetables. Rich darks give her works a sense of personal warmth.

Presently, Anne is affiliated with art groups and participates in exhibitions where she has merited numerous awards. Her work is also displayed in both public and private collections.
