I spied this black Asian Elephant lamp on a back shelf in an Asian antique booth and thought it would make a great addition to any home that needs a little Asian influence somewhere. It really is lovely, detailed representation of an elephant with its trunk up (which is good luck, btw). Perfectly sized to sit atop some stacked books or one could add a Lucite platform below the existing rectangle base for added height and a modern touch.  Imagine this lamp next to a collection of vintage world Almanacs or near photos from your recent Safari.
