What an impressive Vintage Eagle Cast Iron Door Knocker for welcoming your guests this architectural element is! American in origin (circa Late 19th Century) this door knocker has a classic American eagle motif with bold, high-relief features as well as a beautiful weathered patina which is consistent with its age. Did you notice that the hanging knocker piece incorporates two eagle head profiles in its design? Look closely, and you’ll see their beaks touching in the middle. This door knocker comes in two pieces which have the manufacturer and casting numbers on the back side. The eagle dimensions are approximately 6″L x 3.75″W x 1″H; overall dimensions including the knocker is 7.25″L x 3.75″W x 1″H. Hardware not included.
