Description
These vintage brown leather bookends were manufactured by the Smith Crafted of Chicago company, likely in the 1940’s. They each feature a gold painted embossed knight on his horse with a javelin in front of a castle and measure approximately 5″ square on front and 4″ deep across bottom. This pair of sophisticated, historical bookends would look amazing hugging some history books on a bookshelf in your home office or library.
There is some wear to the leather, mostly to the inside and bottom. Wear on edges to be expected for age.
