Description
This vibrant still life painting by Belarus artist Dasha Piven of a Yellow Silver Throated Tanager (Tangara icterocephala) perched on a branch is sure to become a treasured piece of artwork in your home. One of the features of Piven’s artwork that you’ll notice — in addition to her amazing brushwork — is how she captures the “eyes” of her subject. Additionally, the bold coloring of the yellow-gold bird paired with the blue-gray-green background really complement one another. The subject draws you in, but the background leaves you wondering if those are leaves or raindrops behind the bird. This small painting (approximately 4″ x 5″) is one that could not only jump-start the decor of your room, but it’s one you’ll cherish for generations.
