Oh my…be still my romantic heart! This pair of substantial, handcrafted mid-century Italian Gilt Tole Tabletop Candle Holders by Italian designer S. Salvadori have a beautiful low-profile design with two closed rosebuds and one open rose (which houses the candle) surrounding by a dozen or so leaves on the stems. Circa 1950s, these substantial gold leaf Italian candle holders have a lovely aged patina that would look magnificent on any traditional table setting throughout the year, but one can imagine the reflective glow emanating from this decorative pair while dining al fresco on a lovely summer evening as well. Truly a rare find, they’d also look amazing displayed front and center on a bookshelf or coffee table.
