This lovely Ironstone Pitcher with Scalloped Edge and B&W Rooster Scene would be amazing used as intended or filled with your favorite flowers (blue hydrangeas!). Placed on a kitchen countertop, used as part of your bar set up or as a floral arrangement on your screened-in porch, it is truly a beautiful vintage item that would look even more amazing in any farmhouse design interior. As an added benefit, the design of this pitcher is flexible enough to allow you to just turn it around and reveal a small b&w floral accent at the top in case you want a different vibe.

What is Ironstone?
Ironstone is a type stoneware, a vitreous (impermeable to water) pottery, known for its durability and strength. It also tends to be heavier than the other types of pottery: earthenware and porcelain. Contrary to what you might think based on its name, it does not contain iron.
